Jason Determined To Conquer Cowtown
Greenville, TX (10/7/09) by DarinShort.com. Until 2008, Jason had never raced at
Cowtown Speedway, but in the two weekends he took on the 1/4 high banks last year,
he had very strong runs in both the Cowtown Sprint Nationals and November Sprint
Shootout. Shown at the picture on the right, Jason battles with Brian Brown on the final
lap of the '08 CSN.
Jason would finish second in the '08 CSN and third in the NSS.
This coming weekend, the 2nd annual Cowtown Sprint Nationals will be held and Jason
is one of 71 pre-entered teams that will be racing for $2,000 to win on Friday night and
$8,000 to win on Saturday's 35-lap finale.
Jason commented: "We've been really fast out of the box when we've raced at
Cowtown, and I know they've widened the track a bit more since I was there last, but I'm
confident we can have another strong run there against many of the nations' best teams
which will be there."
